Richard
S. Granat, President & CEO
Richard Granat is the
President of Epoq, US, Inc., and its affiliate organization MyLawyer.com,
Inc.
Richard is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law, the
University
of Pennsylvania and Lehigh University. Richard is Chair of the ABA Elawyering Task Force
-- Lawyers Serving Society Through
Technology; a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, and
recently, Chair of the Law Practice
Management Section of the Maryland Bar
Association. He previously served as President of the
Philadelphia Institute for Paralegal Training, the first paralegal
training institution in the United States, and as a member of the
initial working group at the U.S. Office of Economic Opportunity which
created the National Legal Services Program.
Gregor Weeks is Chief Technologist for Epoq, US, Inc.,
and MyLawyer.com,
Inc. Gregor is a graduate of the University of Scranton and is completing
his J.D. at the University of Maryland School of Law. His
critical role in our organization includes the development of our
web-based applications and relational databases, as well as
maintaining all online operations. Gregor was previously an
Intranet Administrator with Planning Systems, Inc. and Technical
Assistant at the Office of Naval Research.
Lynette Mahaney
is Director of our Customer Care Center. Lynette is a graduate of
the University of Maryland, has extensive paralegal experience, and
was previously employed with Kubovcik & Kubovcik, a Washington DC
law firm specializing in patent and trademark law.
Elden Carnahan is our
Director of Document Automation. Elden is a graduate of the
University of Rochester (Master's degree), University of Maryland
and the University of Maryland School of Law. He has worked most
recently as a Systems Analyst with a federal defense agency.
Mendy Janke is a Senior Document Automation Specialist
and manages the company's employment law web site at
http://www.hrlawinfo.com.
Mendy is a graduate of the University of Maryland (Baltimore County)
and the University of Baltimore School
of Law. In her previous positions, she served as both Project
Manager and Applications Developer at The Technology Group.
Grahame K. Cohen, Chairman of the Board, Epoq Software, UK.
Grahame
Cohen graduated from City
University in 1991 with a First Class BS Honours degree in Property Valuation and
Finance. In 1994, he
began trading as Epoch Software. In 1996, in conjunction with
Richard Cohen, development began on the Desktop Lawyer CD-ROM, which
was launched in 1997. Since then, Grahame has been focusing the
Group and its resources on the production of Rapidocs and the
Desktop Lawyer
services.

Richard
Cohen qualified as a
solicitor in November 1981 and began his practice in partnership as Landau & Cohen
immediately after qualification. At Landau & Cohen, Richard
specialized in commercial
work. Richard has also been active as director of a number of property investment
and development companies, as well as secondary mortgage companies. As a result, Richard
has extensive experience of these sectors both as a lawyer and a principal. In conjunction
with Grahame Cohen, Richard was responsible for the development of the Desktop Lawyer
Service and subsequently, the LawAssure services.
